Didier Houénoudé est professeur d’histoire de l’art à l’université d’Abomey-Calavi au Bénin. Son champ d’intérêt porte entre autres sur l’art contemporain africain, les questions patrimoniales et muséales, l’urbanisme et le développement des villes africaines. Il travaille également comme collaborateur scientifique au sein des collections d’art de l’État de Dresde (SKD) et comme directeur adjoint par intérim des collections ethnographiques de l’État de Saxe (SES). Didier Houénoudé est aussi membre du conseil consultatif de la Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz (Fondation du patrimoine culturel prussien).

Didier Houénoudé is professor of art history at the University of Abomey-Calavi in Benin. His interests include contemporary African art, heritage and museum issues, urban planning and the development of African cities. He also works as a scientific collaborator in the State Art Collections of Dresden (SKD) and as Acting Deputy Director of the Ethnographic Collections of the State of Saxony (SES). Didier Houénoudé is also member of the advisory board of the Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz (Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation).

Didier Houénoudé ist Professor für Kunstgeschichte an der Universität von Abomey-Calavi in Benin. Sein Interessengebiet umfasst u. a. zeitgenössische afrikanische Kunst, Problematik des Kulturerbes und des Museumswesens sowie Stadtplanung und Entwicklung afrikanischer Städte. Er arbeitet außerdem als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter in den Staatlichen Kunstsammlungen Dresden (SKD) und als stellvertretender Direktor ad Interim der Ethnographischen Sammlungen Sachsen (SES). Didier Houénoudé ist auch Mitglied des Beirats der Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz.
